FRANCIS ROSSI (STATUS QUO) ''I never like to say there’s going to be anything special. Special is the unknown quantity that happens in a live show.''
Musically he still loves playing, performing and writing as much as ever and is always involved in the production of Quo records. When not touring, Francis keeps fit by swimming and exercising. He is a collector of Koi Carp, likes Clay pigeon shooting and is probably the English pasta-eating record holder. - www.statusquo.co.uk

Status Quo will be returning in Croatia, on July 29. What are you memories of previous show in Pula?
Previous memories – beautiful location. It was sad we had to let people down. Looking forward to returning.
What can your fans expect from you on this tour? Anything special we need to look for?
I never like to say there’s going to be anything special. Special is the unknown quantity that happens in a live show. I hope everything about it will be special.
You have written on your web site this will be your last “electric” tour, why is that?
It’s just time now and we wish to explore the aquostic somewhat more.
‘Aquostic (Stripped Bare)’ acoustic album from 2014. was a great success for the band and it’s sequel ‘Aquostic II - One More For The Road’ is coming out in October. Can you reveal some more information about this new acoustic album?
Once again you are working with Bryan Adams as photographer for the album cover. How did you start working with him in the first place?
Our manager thought it would be a good idea.
Not many in Croatia know that you filmed a feature movie called ‘Bula Quo!’ an action comedy. How come that you decided to film a movie?
As with many other things we are offered these projects some we yes to some we say no.
Some prove to be good moves, some don’t
Can you tell us how was it in Fiji?
A fabulous experience, lovely people, learning curve.
You are also supporter of ‘Dogs Trust’ and an owner of such noble animals. What’s the situation with animal rights in UK?
I don’t feel qualified to answer that question.
'Dog Of Two Head' ale you made with Hobsons Brewery, what’s the story behind that collaboration?
Again, we are approached to take part in many projects. Some work out, some don’t.
There were other drinks connected with Status Quo like Wychwood brewery’s ‘Piledriver’ and Celtic Marches’ 'Down Down' cider. How do you pick the drinks? Or do they pick you?
That’s a 2 way street. Sometimes we pick, sometimes they do.
Your 2016 calendar is rather fulfilled. Is there anything already going on for the next year?
Yes, there are some Aquostic dates.
Perun.hr wishes you a great rock night in Pula and speedy recovery for Rick Parfitt. To conclude, is there anything special that you would like to say to your Croatian fans?
Once again, very sorry to have let you down last time. Hoping to make up for it on the 29th July.
