I was looking for some old interviews about 'Sacrifice' album and found something for first time from Phil. We all know about Lemmy, history of Motorhead... Phil was talking on dvd that he don't like to put people in 'camps' of different styles.

But this is first time I saw this, so direct approach. I could see this from late Philthy interview, maybe from Larry, or Robbo, but I thought I would never hear this from Campbell, definetly not from Mikkey. But it obviously happened. Can't find the bloody date of interview.

but here it is (use google translate if you dont know german, bloody languages, all should talk same on this planet ):

www.gitarrebass.de/stories/phil-campbel ... etal-band/

One of the questions and answer was:

"In a typical rock'n'roll style, right?

Phillip Campbell: That depends on whether you classify me as a guitarist in general or as a member of Motörhead. Motörhead is not a heavy metal band. We always say: Motörhead play Motörhead music. I think we play loud blues and rock 'n' roll at an unusual pace.

I think there are far too many different categories. Actually, there is only good or bad music. Why must everything be so meticulously subdivided in a record shop? One should only print the band or artist name and arrange it alphabetically. That would be much clearer."

SO IT'S NOT ONLY LEMMY! Thats very good to know.

On one other interview he said he doesnt like nickname Wizzo and nobody calls him like that anymore. He got it because he got fired quickly once.
Lemmy: "We are Motorhead and we play rock'n'roll!" (Lemmy: "We were not heavy metal," he snaps. "We were a rock'n'roll band. Still are. Everyone always describes us as heavy metal even when I tell them otherwise. Why won't people listen?")

"Did ya know I wrote the music for and played Bass on the title track for Lem's movie Sunset Society recently with Lem on vocals.? Doesn't get much more Motörhead than that, it's on YouTube"

Its this:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OKJgEUHkiY

A o filmu radnja:

"Welcome to the world of the Sunset Society, a secret organization in Hollywood where parties are held, musicians gather and blood flows freely! Ace (Lemmy from "Motorhead") is the head vampire in charge who likes to keep the fun going while keeping the profile low. However, due to a few rebels in his midst, humans are starting to catch on to his vampire ways."

A nije Ilinko. Njega nisam tad poznavao. Njega sam upoznao relativno nedavno, prije nekih 5 godina..
